Work done at the comfort of the learners own home and at a manageable pace ensures better absorption of the content as well as adequate time to ask questions about specific topics of concern

Motivate

Through mentoring, access to the key of what will motivate the learner is found. This develops an incentive to work independently between lessons, and allows the student to take pride and responsibility for their success

Encourage

Many children struggle with negative feelings towards certain subjects. Encouragement and belief in ability is constantly re-enforced through praise and encouragement. The right mind set will assist learners to effectively understand their schoolwork, and grow their overall confidence. Online tutoring sessions are great at shifting a negative attitude towards a more positive one

Past work

The classroom environment restricts teachers to covering only current work or work planned for a specific lesson. On the other hand, during tutoring sessions we are able to fill in any gaps in past knowledge, regardless of the learner's current position in the syllabus. Going over past work improves fundamental understanding, creating a solid foundation for future learning

Empowering students

Students are taught to work independently. Work done in-between lessons is just as important as work during lessons. Since there is often limited time between learner and tutor, responsibility extends to motivating and encouraging learners to work hard in-between lessons. Ultimately learners needs to sit their tests and exams by themselves and ensure they are confident going into exams
